Poboyspecial found some .25in. welding steel and wanted to know if it could be used to stop various rounds. We know that most of your steel targets are indeed 3/8in. steel and obviously thicker. What would a thinner .25in. steel plate do?
We dug out a .357 magnum revolver with a 2in. barrel and decided to test the complete spectrum. We chose .38spl. then on to .38spl +p and then on to the heavyweight .357magnum to see if any of these rounds would penetrate the .25in. steel. Let’s see how they do.
