Yuantai Derun Square Tube Surface Crack Detection Technology mainly includes penetration method, magnetic powder method, and eddy current detection method.

1. Penetration method

Penetrating flaw detection is to apply a certain colored liquid with permeability on the surface of the square tube. After wiping, the crack can be displayed because there is liquid remaining in the crack of the square tube.

2. Magnetic powder method

This method uses fine particles of magnetic powder. When entering the leakage magnetic field caused by the crack, it will be attracted and left. Since the leakage magnetic field is wider than the crack, the accumulated magnetic powder is easy to see with the naked eye (as shown in the figure).

3. Eddy current detection method

This method is carried out using an eddy current crack detector. The principle is that when the detector contacts the crack of the square tube, the impedance of the detector coil is weakened to obtain a change in voltage, that is, the corresponding value is displayed on the instrument dial or an alarm sound is issued. The eddy current method can also be used to measure the depth value of the crack of the square tube.
