Ipayipi lensimbi le-ERW
Ipayipi le-ERW (ipayipi elihlanganisiwe elinokumelana nogesi) kanye nepayipi le-CDW (ipayipi elihlanganisiwe elidonswe ngokubandayo) kuyizinqubo ezimbili ezihlukene zokukhiqiza zamapayipi ensimbi ahlanganisiwe.

Izakhiwo zemishini: ukuqina kokusebenza okubandayo, amandla akhuphuke ngo-20% ~ 30%
Ukucindezeleka okusele: okuphezulu (kuyadingeka ukubopha ukuze kuqedwe ukucindezeleka kokudonsa okubandayo)

Ipayipi le-CDW = ipayipi le-ERW + umdwebo obandayo, onezilinganiso eziqondile kanye namandla aphezulu, kodwa futhi nezindleko eziphakeme.
Ipayipi le-ERW lifanelekela izinjongo ezijwayelekile zesakhiwo, kuyilapho ipayipi le-CDW lisetshenziswa emkhakheni wemishini enembile kakhulu.
Uma ukusebenza kwepayipi le-CDW kudinga ukuthuthukiswa okwengeziwe, ukwelashwa kokunamathisela kungangezwa (ukuqeda ukucindezeleka kokusebenza okubandayo).
